Silky smooth and fit nicely.These are very tight on me - I wear size 10 and got medium. Very tight, compressive. It's like double-heavy swimsuit fabric. It looks ok, but for comfort if I'd had the chance to try on a couple of them, I probably would have gone with Large.I am also very tall, and these are LONG. I imagine on a petite woman they would be ankle length. I wear a swim tunic from Coolibar and these will be great. Gusseted crotch. Also, there are bold stripes up the legs that did not show in the photo I saw. they are not plain black.Loses a star because the stripes were not shown much.Paddle pants? Is that what they call them now? That's not what we used to call them back when I wore pants like this. Back then, it was "gymwear" and we would pair them with a dashing Whether you're in shape, getting in shape, or just want to look as good as you can for the shape you're in, these are great. The fabric is comfortable and stretchy but still powerfully firm, so it brings your curves into control or just shows them off. It's thick enough not to see through but not so thick as to feel like a tourniquet. There's a very slight sheen, but nothing gawdy. The fabric has UV 50+ protection and is made of 80% nylon and 20% lycra. The lycra is Lycra Xtra Life (TM) Spandex and is supposed to last 5-10 times longer than other spandex. So they should hold up under all kinds of wear.The zebra stripes on the sides are attractive and distinctive. The waistband measures about 2 1/4" and 29" around unstretched. The measurement from the waistband to the crotch is 9". The inseams on mine measure 21". They are made in Sri Lanka.These are comfy, sexy, and true to size. I wear 4 or 6 in jeans, and the medium is comfortable (almost too big, but small would be too tight). I am surprised by all the tall people saying how long these are. I'm only 5'3" and the length fits me *exactly* like the model in the picture, not 2" above the ankle as other reviewers have described. In fact, I wish they were a bit longer because I'm going to have to use sunblock on the bottom of my legs or throw a towel over my calves and feet when I go sit-on-top-kayaking.The black looks good and moves with you vs. creating bulges (and I'm middle aged!). The zebra stripe is wider than you can tell from the picture, but it's sexy. If anything, you'll have to watch out for guys patting you on the butt because some of them will be tempted. My husband said he wouldn't mind if I wore these every day. Worth the price.These are great. I will wear them for more than paddle-boarding but this weekend, that is exactly where I am wearing them. They are super comfortable. I was a little concerned they might feel like compression pants but nope - they fit perfectly. They are just the right mix of snug and breathable. I like them a lot and can't wait to get out on the water in them.These are durable and rather sexy looking paddle pants for the ladies. They fit over a bathing suit and generally are a perfect fit. If you're a woman, these will look and feel great on you. If you're a guy looking for a gift for your lady love, you won't go wrong hereWhile I really like the design and the UV protection, these were about a half-size larger than they should be. Since they should have a compression element, folks may wish to downsize. But, even that is somewhat tricky. I think if you are in-between a small and a medium, definitely go with the small. If you are a true medium, it might depend on your overall shape. I have an athletic toned shape, so these were loose overall. I think if you are in-between a medium and a large, the medium might work well.I wish these were a truer fit. For me, they are unusable but I really love the look.
