This is one of my favorite styles of Birk sandals. It's comfortable and attractive. The color of this one is darker than the picture, more of a navy, and looks good with anything denim. The upper is made of their synthetic material. It's quite thick and the backing is very soft, so it does have a leather-like feel. The footbed has a suede liner. This model has the traditional Birk footbed with the prominent arch support. People with high arches will probably find this comfortable. People with low arches should probably look for the soft footbed models or the Birkis. The size I ordered is a size smaller and narrower than my American size, and it fits perfectly. If you've never worn Birks before, it would be a good idea to try some on in a local store before you order from an overseas seller.This is the second sandal I've ordered this summer from this particular seller, shoeworld24. They are excellent. When I had a question about my order they emailed a response within a few hours. Both this order and my previous one arrived before the earliest estimated arrival time and I live on the West Coast. If I decide to order any Birks next summer, I'll look for them.Birkenstocks are my shoe of choice. I wear them 99% of the time. They always fit the same, and are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. When I was a little girl, I wore corrective shoes until I was about 8 or 9 years old, because I walked on the outside edges of my feet. Then, in my 40's I broke a bone in my foot, and it had to be removed. At that point, I needed wide shoes. My daughter said I should try Birkenstocks. I've been wearing them for about 25 years now. Sandals in the summer and clogs with socks in the winter. When a pair get older (after about 10 years,) I use them around the house, in the rain, and for gardening. I have bought several new pairs this year to replace the older ones. Thanks Birkenstock for such a wonderful shoe!Very satisfied other than the sandals being a bit wide so that I have to use the tightest holes. I ordered a black pair in 39 N (narrow) and they fit better. The colour is close to the image and I would describe it as tomato red.I have 4 pairs (3 Florida and 1 Arizona) and they are the most comfortable and offer the most support than any other shoes/sandals I have and they last forever. Buying on-line was a great savings.These shoes are nice fitting Birkenstocks BUT for some reason they have cheap plastic buckles instead of the usual metal ones. Other than that they are nice. Fit well and hopefully will hold up as long as my other pairs of Birkenstocks.Fit as expected but the sole was way to hard than the ones i used to get during last 10+years from sellers in US. The customer service was exceptional and went an extra mile to replace them for soft bed, even in this case when I wore them for a day ( not knowing they are hard until my feet were left sore at the end of the day). Five stars for customer service!I have very wide feet with high arches. These are my go to sandal as they provide great arch support and the "regulars" are actually wide. A regular sized women's would be considered a "narrow". They came in less than 2 weeks, from Germany. I live in my Birkenstocks and these are perfect!great price, in perfect condition, and much faster delivery than expected. Yes, they came in a shoebox that was taped all around, but there was no damage whatsoever to the shoes. The color was exactly as pictured, and my daughter (they were a gift) says they are the most comfortable shoes she's ever worn. I'm not sure she's taken them off since she got them!Been looking for a pair of red Birkenstocks for a long time. This colour is hard to find. The fit well and very happy with the purchase.I have become a Birkenstock convert over the last few years. Now that I'm approaching 40, I need comfy sandals that actually stay on my feet! I have a couple of pairs of Madrid style and I can actually go hiking in them, they're that comfy. These Florida ones are lovely - I got them in black patent and they look really nice with dresses as well as trousers. Just as comfy as the other styles. They arrived really quickly too. Good price at the moment as well.This are not original Birkenstocks....I believe they are fake..the quality of the sole and the material in general are not good. the buckle are made of plastic and they don't feel right...I am very disappointed I will not buy Birkenstocks from Amazon again...will spend more money and buy them from their website..The Florida is a bit more feminine than the Arizona, but not quite as comfy. Having three straps instead of two seems to make them less rather than more easy to fit to my feet... Having said that, I'm very pleased as usual with a Birkenstock sandal, and I would recommend them to anyone who rates comfort above fashion. I would also love to see a bigger of range of colours available in my size (it's really frustrating to see lovely colours only to find none to fit me). These arrived a full 10 days earlier than advised, too.This pair of Birkenstock Florida sandals were ordered at the same time as another pair of Birkenstock shoes. I alternate them because I find them so comfortable. They may feel strange when you first put them on , if you have never worn Birkenstocks before, but after a day or so they will mould to your feet and be great. The only reason I did not give these five stars was because I would have preferred a lighter colour, which was not available in my size.3rd pair of Birkenstock. The patent are really nice. Feel lovely on. No rubbing. No having to wear them in. Usual Birkenstock quality. Will be keeping these. I cant wait for my winter Birki boots to arrive.
